About the Author
Alina
I’m a science graduate whose unique career path led me far from the classroom and into the dynamic environment of Dukes India Ravi Foods Pvt Ltd, where I serve as Executive Assistant with over seven years of cross-industry experience.
Driven not by expectation, but by necessity and aspiration, I chose to forgo a medical career to support my family, building a reputation for exceptional organization and adaptability no matter the setting. My meticulous approach to personal and professional life is a hallmark—every day thoughtfully planned; every responsibility managed with quiet confidence. My journey was far from conventional. A break for Airhostess training to find out what I should do about myself became a turning point, followed by a formative experience as a hotel secretary. My skills and abilities for seamless management and natural leadership made me a standout in each role and others envy me, even as I navigated the complexities and unpredictability of new industries. While others questioned my choices why I choose this as my career, I found purpose and fulfillment in mastering challenges and building resilience where it mattered most.
Creativity is another cornerstone in my story. Although I prefer not to be strictly called an artist, I treasures sketching in my free time—never with commercial intent, but to reflect happiness and the beauty I finds in others. My artistry is an expression of my empathetic nature, enriching my perspective as both a writer and a person.

After leaving my previous working place I realised something that the world of books and memorable characters always fascinated me, but it was the inspiration from Colleen Hoover’s (I should say My Role model) “It Ends With Us” that gave me the courage to write. Despite facing criticism and chaos, still I didn’t flinch anywhere. I remained steadfast to my vision, I took a step forward and published.
“My Last Love Beyond the Interview” is my debut novel—a testament to the courage it takes to pursue passion over expectation, and to the power of holding onto one’s story even in the face of adversity.
My writing is for anyone questioning the nature of love, commitment, and the realities beneath romantic ideals. I strongly believe real relationships don’t come with green or red flags—they’re built from our choices, patience, and the willingness to stay and grow together even through misunderstandings and doubt.
My stories are an encouragement for readers to hold firmly to those they love, trusting that differences and challenges can lead to true destiny. With each word, I share not only my own journey, but an invitation for others to seek meaning, healing, and the imperfect joy of love chosen in vulnerability.
A contemporary romance about destiny, vulnerability, and the choices that change everything.
“My Last Love: Beyond the Interview” follows the emotional journey of two ambitious young professionals whose lives collide in a moment that was never meant to be more than formal—but becomes unforgettable.
Set against corporate pressures and personal dilemmas, this story explores:
The intensity of unexpected connections
The fragile layers of trust, hope, and heartbreak
The courage to choose love despite fear
The discovery of self through another person
It is a novel woven with passion, honesty, and the complexities of modern relationships—perfect for readers who believe in second chances and love that unfolds when you least expect it.
I've always been a collector of stories. Not just the ones I read in books or hear from others, but the ones I tell myself. The ones that shape me, mold me, and sometimes, hold me back.
Growing up, I was the quiet one, the observer. I watched the world around me with curious eyes, soaking up every detail, every emotion. My mind was a canvas, painting vivid pictures of stories waiting to be told.
But life had other plans. Career, responsibilities, and doubts crept in, whispering that writing was a luxury I couldn't afford. So, I tucked my stories away, hidden from the world, hidden from myself.
Until I couldn't ignore the whispers anymore. The characters began to stir, the plots unfolding in my mind like wildflowers after a spring rain. And I knew I had to listen.
My Last Love Beyond the Interview is more than just a story – it's a reflection of my journey, my struggles, and my triumphs. It's a reminder that it's never too late to pick up the pen and start writing again.
This is my chapter 1, my story, my heart laid bare for you to read, to connect with, and to remember that you're not alone in your own unwritten story.
Why Read This Book
Because You’ll See Yourself in the Characters
Aubery and Lisa are deeply human.
Their fears, dreams, flaws, and choices mirror the emotional challenges many of us face.
Because It Celebrates Love that Chooses, Not Just Happens
This is a story about returning, understanding, rebuilding, and staying—
even when it’s easier to walk away.
Because It Speaks to Anyone at a Crossroads
If you’ve ever questioned your worth, your relationships, or the direction of your life, this story will meet you where you are.
Recollecting the moment this foreword first took shape, it feels much like tracing the quiet turn in a friendship that becomes family.
My journey with Alina began over two years ago in the vibrant world of executive assistance and scientific research—and for a long time, we hardly spoke beyond the necessities of work. Somewhere between shared schedules, problem‑solving, and stitching daily gaps with practical fixes, we began to connect; soon, Alina was helping coordinate our activities, smoothing edges in ways only someone deeply attentive could manage. Then came the call that changed everything—It’s the day when I called her with the casual tone, the way an old school friend might say hello after years apart. We began to share memories, visit places, and speak openly about her artistry, her ups and downs, and the quiet courage it takes to keep creating when life gets loud.
One day she nearly startled me: “I’m thinking of writing a story and publishing it.” I didn’t know what to say at first. But she wrote anyway. My part was simple—be a well‑wisher, a steady encouragement, a listener through countless rehearsals, plot turns, and late‑night reworks. And then a 200‑page document arrived. Shock gave way to awe. She had done it—alone, word by careful word, decision by decision.
When she asked me to write the foreword, I hesitated. I urged her to approach someone else. She insisted—because I had walked beside her process, watched the struggle, and understood what this book meant to her more than any stranger could.
While editing and shaping these pages, a thousand questions rose: Why share this story with the world? What if disappointment follows? What if criticism is harsh? I kept those questions close, not because they were untrue, but because I know her well enough to trust her answers would be made in action, not debate.
This book—My Last Love: Beyond the Interview—isn’t a fairy tale. It’s a lived honesty about trust, vulnerability, and choosing a person again and again when pride, fear, and misunderstanding would rather you retreat. It’s about Lisa’s courage and Aubery’s imperfect love that changes a life not with grand gestures, but with steadfast presence, forgiveness, and the discipline to return after storms have passed.
In these pages, love is not a shield from pain; it’s the strength to heal and keep showing up, the proof that tenderness can survive a complicated world.
If you carry doubts, let this story sit with you. If you carry wounds, let it breathe with you. And if you carry hope—even quietly—let it grow here.
To me, this book remains what it was the day I first read it: a testament to choosing truth over image, care over distance, and love over fear. May it leave you as intrigued and moved as it still leaves me.
Warmly,
Aubery
